A Look at Our First Acquisition

We are proud to announce our first-ever physical acquisition, a collection of 18th and 17th-century manuscripts related to the Pohlmann family from Hille, where the family originated. This collection is not just an addition to our archives, but a tangible link to the very roots of the family tree.

A round cupped button of white metal, with a loop on the back, depicting the Påhlman family coat of arms. From Björnegården, Råda or the county of Vänersvik.

The coat of arms depicts a shield with an arm on it and banners. On the back is C. SPORRONG STOCKHOLM.

Diameter: 28 mm. Thickness: 14 mm.

The original owner Elisabet Augusta Påhlman died at Örgrytehemmet, Gothenburg, in 1978.
