A banknote book that was part of Signe Påhlman's estate, originally owned by Margareta Elisabeth Ancarcrona. Born on March 13, 1777, at Boserup, Margareta was the daughter of Major Conrad Wilhelm Ankarcrona and his wife, a born Countess Reenstierna. Margareta married Colonel Adolf Fredrik Påhlman in 1797 at Runsa, who passed away in 1838 in Lidköping.
Banknote book features two compartments adorned with geometric plant motifs, embroidered with yellow, green, blue, and light red silk on a white silk background. Inside, there's a French inscription written in black marker, "d´un courie aufsile ridreaue fidele" ("of a faithful courier"), and sequin embellishments. Lined with pale silk.
